Wet golf for the Ladies

Yet again the St Enodoc Ladies had to deal with extremely wet conditions for their latest League Match which was against Truro. However, despite the weather they managed to win this match 7 - 0. On Tuesday 21st August the Sir Cecil Carr 4 Club Competition was played on the Church Course and 2 ladies scored an impressive 36 points to take first and second places. Elinor Elliott took the Trophy on countback from Julia Bailey and in third place was Pauline Meredith with 33 points.

A 4 Club Competition was also played on the Holywell Course which was won by Edna Alford with 38 points. Revel Webb came second with 37 points on countback from Carol Carter in third. On the Church Course another round of the Roworth Salver was played and the winner, Annie Cruse, scored 36 points and cut her handicap to 19. In second place was Sue Willmott with 30 points.
