Warmer weather brings out the Ladies

A round of the Church Salver was played on Friday 1st March in the spring sunshine. The top two spots could only be decided after count back with Sue G Jones winning the day from Jax Buse.
1st Sue G Jones 31 points (on count back)
2nd Jax Buse 31 points

Sunday 3rd March saw the EWGA Medal Competition take place on the Church Course. Players battled in cold and windy conditions to complete their score cards. Sue Richards produced the best score of the day to win the competition with a nett 83.

Entries were reduced in the Church Medal Competition on Tuesday 5th March as many of the ladies were playing in the Mixed Greensomes Competition held later in the day. Playing their way in to the prizes were:

2nd Helen Russell nett 93

On a wet Thursday 7th March, Meg Godfrey and Jax Buse travelled to Merlin Golf Club to play in the first round of the Daily Mail Foursomes. An enjoyable game was closely fought with the St Enodoc ladies having to give 14 shots. In the end, Meg and Jax played through the conditions to overcome their plucky opponents and win 3 up.
