Tough conditions for Colonels / Metropole Round 4

Published: 13th June 2013

Saturday 8th June saw a field of 76 members competing in Round 4 of the Colonels/Metropole Cup. With the long rough growing significantly in the last month allied with a healthy wind the course provided a stiff test with nobody in the field managing to beat a handicap score.

In the Colonels division Rich Lawrence finished in First place with a score of 35 points, followed by Robbie Moore in Second place on 34 points. Rich Hawken also finished with 34 points but had to settle for Third place after count-back.

Richard Blake finished top of the pile in the Metropole Division, battling hard to post a best of the day 36 points. Paul Godfrey finished a point adrift in Second place with Pete Liddicoat a point further behind in Third place.
