Stableford Salver Series

A new Stableford Salver Series commenced on Friday 9th October, players enjoyed excellent playing conditions and Sue G Jones earned maximum points to take an early lead in the series.

1st   Sue G Jones       28 points
2nd  Vicki Stevenson  27 points (after count back)

Roworth Salver Series

The penultimate round of the Roworth Salver Series took place on Sunday 11th October, Sue Willmott produced the best performance of the day scoring 34 points.

1st  Sue Willmott  34 points
2nd  Bev Vann      28 points

The final round of the Roworth Salver Series will be played on Sunday 25th October and with only one point separating the top two players on the leaderboard  - it’s all to play for.

Captain of Virtue v Captain of Vice

On Tuesday 13th October, over fifty ladies played on the Holywell Course in a Four Ball Better Ball Matchplay Competition. Players were divided into two teams selected by Judy Redman (Captain of Virtue) and Annie Cruse (Captain of Vice) Stakes were high as the winners of each match earned one point towards their team’s grand total as well as consigning their opponents to a compulsory Captain’s Charity payment. Playing conditions were excellent and all the matches were played with exuberance.
