Due to illness the final of the Church Course Winter Foursomes knockout was delayed. However, Sue Roworth and Bev Vann were the eventual winners beating Sue Richards and Annie Cruse in the final. On Tuesday 27 March a 3 Ball Better Ball Team competition was played on both Courses. On the Church Course Beth Elliott, Sue Foster and Viv Steer took first prize with 72 points on countback from Penny Cartwright, Janine Clagett and Maggie Day. On the Holywell Course 88 points was the winning score for the team comprising Gill Goodright, Janet Walton and Margaret Godwin.

On Friday morning the St Enodoc Ladies took on a team from Treloy in the third round of the Mail on Sunday Competition. After some glorious sunny days it was disappointing to stand on the first tee in misty cold conditions but with the course in great condition and some challenging pin positions there were some good matches. Viv Steer had a resounding victory, winning 7 & 5. Annie Hawkey won 3 & 2 and Mary Rayment won 3 & 1, Beth Elliott had a well earned half while Di Dingle finished 1 up to make the final score four and half to a half. We now look forward to discovering who we will play in the next round.
