Teams enjoy an Away Day at Trethorne.

A very successful away day was organised for the Ladies Captain on Friday 8th August which turned out to be another warm and sunny day. Twenty eight St Enodoc ladies travelled to Trethorne Golf Club to play in a fun Four Ball Stableford Competition.
A “rusty” Meg Godfrey demonstrated her pedigree by winning both the nearest the pin and longest drive prizes. In the team competition, the following groups played their way into the prizes:

1st Fiona Lunt, Pauline Meredith, Barbara Willmott and Sue Floyd Jones  95 points

2nd Sarah Sandercock, Marie Bradbury, Annie Hawkey and Lynn Ashcroft  89 points

3rd Nicky Mitchell, Jane Bendall, Penny Moon and Viv Steer  88 points
            
Barbara Willmott thanked the organisers and her playing partners for a great day out.

 

Hoskin Cup – Church Course

Congratulations to Celia Jarvis who achieved the best nett score in the medal competition on Tuesday 5th August. Celia is the proud winner of the Hoskin Cup which was first played for in 1905.

Holywell Medal Competition

This medal competition was also designated as a Beason Cup Qualifier. Winner of the day was Liz McWhirtwer with an excellent nett 60.
