Sweep Stableford

After two weeks with no Saturday competition the men were raring to go this weekend.  80 players entered the Sweep Stableford and enjoyed the fabulous crisp sunshine.  There are lots of prizes this week with all the entry fund paid back in prizes.

Guy Hovil, playing off 5, took first prize with 39 points. Guy played to level par on the front 9 and just lost a couple of shots on 10 and 11 before finding his form again at the 12th.   

Following Guy in, there were 3 players on 37 points.  Andy Griffiths took 2nd place, John Paul, 3rd and Keith Searle came in 4th. In 5th place Kevin Brenton scored 35 points ahead of a whole bunch of players all scoring 34 points.  In order on countback those with 34 points were, David Elliott, Derek Rushton, Kenton Williams, John Glynne-Jones, Paul Dingle, Rob Cook and Nick Evans. 

Richard Lawrence scored 33 points and took 13th place on countback from Josh Greenaway in 14th and Keith Hawke in 15th place.
