Day 3 of the Cornwall County Championships saw major success for St Enodoc as Charlie Runnalls won the Royal Cornwall Challenge Cup. A large field of 76 players which included 15 from St Enodoc entered the event and it included players of all handicaps ranging from -3 to 18. Charlie playing off 5 came home with 40 points closely followed by our own Dave Flew who scored 39 points playing off 12. There was then a 2 point gap to third place on 37 points and only 5 players in the field bettered 36 points. Other St Enodoc players well up the field were in 11th Rob Davies on 33 points, John Arnold 12th also on 33 and Pete Liddicoat on 32 who was 16th.
