Celebrating in style after two fabulous days of golf.

In glorious weather, thirty lady members enjoyed a two day break at The Vale, near Cardiff.
On the first day the competition was an individual stableford on the Wales National Course
which is the longest one in Europe, so points were at a premium. The winners were:
Silver Division
Heather Brewer
Bronze Division
Susie Hoddell

On Thursday 12th June, the competiton was a dallas scramble on the Lakes Course which was
very beautiful and not quite so long.
The players in the winning team were:
Meg Godfrey, Janet Templeman, Jane Bendall and Maxine Rich.

The hotel and surroundings were all without fault, with excellent food and service.  The three non
playing ladies (due to injuries) were able to enjoy the other Spa and swimming facilities.
After the evening presentation, a further boost to the Ladies Captain's Charity The Cornwall Food Foundation was made.
