David Elliott was in Truro last week to receive thanks from Macmillan Cancer Support for the money the Club has raised this year for the charity's Cove Project at Treliske from Emma Wright - in presenting David with a certificate of appreciation Emma said -

“We were delighted to accept another £5,900 from St Enodoc Club Captain David Elliott for The Cove appeal in Cornwall.

This takes the clubs fundraising this year to over £10,000 – a truly wonderful amount which will make a big difference to our fundraising efforts.

We are pleased to report that work is now beginning at the site, and we are looking forward to cutting the turf this month (October). The centre is on course to open as planned in the Summer of 2016.

The Cove will support around 13,000 people in Cornwall every year, and so the support given by David, Members of the Club and friends and family of St Enodoc will make a real impact on the support we can offer those affected by cancer.”
