Published: 27th March 2014

The Annual Cornish Festival, the largest Pro-Am event in the UK, starts next Tuesday 1st April. This is a three day event played at St Enodoc, Newquay and Trevose.

444 players split into 111 teams will contest the event. Our own resident Pro's - Nick Williams and Mark Arrowsmith will be playing alongside, and against, Ryder Cup players Peter Baker (last years winner), Phillip Price, Paul Broadhurst and Steven Richardson.

The event sold out in just six weeks and Glen Ross, Secretary of The PGA in England & Wales (South West), said "We have started a waiting list but don't hold out much hope of cancellations as the festival has become more popular than ever"

Nick's team comprises the top three from the St Enodoc Order of Merit, namely, Richard Hawken, Robbie Moore and Rob Davies. Whilst Mark's team is Joe Cruse, Norman Evans and Kevin Brenton.

The webmaster and his team of roving reporters will be watching the event every day and will bring you update information as it happens ! Keep an eye also on the Twitter feed.
