Not just Mixed Golf but Royal Mixed Golf !

Published: 22nd June 2016

The mixed foursomes flag competition precedes the BBQ with live music in the evening. It will be played over both courses and the entry sheets are already up.

In this the year the Queen celebrates her 90th birthday we will make it a bit different and join in those celebrations be it a bit late.

Each pair adds half their combined handicap to 75 on the Church and 63 on the Holywell (eg the Elliotts on the Church- 10+20 = 15+75 = 90 ) where that shot finishes will be marked by small union jack given on the day. There is a larger flag that will denote the winner which will be moved forward every time a pair beats it. That maybe on the 18th, or down 1st or 2nd second time around!

All players to be patriotic and wear red, white and blue and the prizes will go along with the theme thanks to Derek Kingsbury and the internet!

Its a fun competition followed by food and music for those wish to stay on.
