Niblick enjoys Pandora's Box

Published: 11th December 2011

Niblick was lurking round the Clubhouse during Pandora's Box and one Member, a good citizen and Council Tax payer of Chapel Amble, was seen in a state of total confusion as he turned up to play at 9.00 am only to discover that he was too early so undaunted went home. Despite the fact that the team sheet clearly stated 11.00 shotgun start (no excuses accepted for it showing Noon in the diary) he returned to the Club to find to his horror that play was already under way. He rushed onto the course to join his group and after a hole discovered that he should only have selected 7 clubs in order to use a carry bag and there he was with trolley, big bag and 14 clubs. Just to prove that the holiday lets proprietor really is losing it he had even managed to forget to sign in – sad really.
