Nash & Cruse well placed in the English Amateur

Antony Nash and Joe Cruse both scored 76 today in Cumbria to lie equal 86th out of 274 starters in the English Amateur. The cut is 64 and ties so a decent round tomorrow from the pair should see them through to the knock out stage.

Antony's round was spoiled with a ugly triple bogey 8; but he retrieved it with a eagle 3 on the par 5 14th at Seascale. Joe, playing at Silloth, made life difficult for himself with three bogeys in the first 4 holes, and this after an opening birdie.
