Mail on Sunday Team 2016 Campaign

1st Round at Home v Bowood Park Golf Club 31st January

Tee Time: 10am – individual warm up will be player driven; yet if you can make sure you make yourself known to Andy by 9am on the day please. In the event something happens to prevent you playing, please contact Rod Frost on 07802 846674 - or on the day, Andy Bunt on 07967 823606.

Team:

  • Sam Jarvis
  • Kev Brenton
  • Andy Bunt (Captain)
  • Richard Blake
  • Mike Masters

The Mail on Sunday is an inter club handicap competition based on a 5 man Team. In the event a match is halved; then players in the last game will play additional holes on a sudden death basis, to determine the winning team to progress into the next round.

Andy Bunt will captain the side on the day and I wish him and the Team all the very best against old rivals Bowood Park on the 31st January. There will be sandwiches available after the match for the Teams – jacket and tie not required.

We have some very experienced and capable players at the Club. I had five teams provisionally selected for the competition, such is the strength in depth we have at St Enodoc. If we progress in the Competition; then future Teams will be selected on performance, availability, handicap, and whether home or away fixtures. If you have not been selected for the first round; then please don’t think this excludes your future participation.

Good Luck on the day to Andy and the Team – caddies and supporters are as ever very welcome indeed.
