The great and good of St Enodoc Golf Club were out in force yesterday for the Annual Mens Captain’s Day; this was concluded with the Annual trophy presentation dinner.

The competition for day was a 4 ball better ball competition off full handicap from the white tees. In benign, almost perfect, golfing conditions Ben Chapman and Gavin Jarvis took full advantage with an excellent winning score of 45 points.

At the dinner which followed Captain Tony Rounsevell and before the prize giving paid tribute to those whose work behind the scenes made golf and competitive golf at St Enodoc possible. Arguably the most prestigious of all those on display was the Andy Jolley Order of Merit and which goes to the most prolific and consistent golfer of the year and won for the third successive year by Richard Hawken.  Also in the prizes and rewarded for their fine golfing achievements were
