Mail on Sunday Team master the mud at Lanhydrock

Published: 21st February 2014

The first round of the Mail on Sunday Competition took place at the second attempt on Friday 21st February at Lanhydrock Golf Club. The home advantage for the Lanhydrock team appeared to be nullified because of the demanding and testing condition of the course. Saturated fairways, water logged fringes and heavy greens meant that each shot required a player’s full attention and almost perfect execution in order to play well. Fortunately, St Enodoc fielded a very experienced team who were able to cope with the formidable challenge and secure a comfortable win.
Vice- Captain, Trudie Tensjo thanked all the players and their caddies for performing so well in extremely difficult conditions.
