Luke Donald, European Ryder Cup stalwart and currently ranked 44th in the world, recently took some time out of his busy professional playing schedule to visit the St Enodoc Junior Academy on Saturday 21st March.

Mark Arrowsmith the Junior Head Coach had previously warned his pupils that they were to expect a surprise visitor and to bring suitable items for signature. Luke spoke at length to the boys and girls and after answering their varied questions congratulated the Academy team on the great job they were doing.

Luke then played with some friends, a social round, on the Church Course and which he described on his Twitter account as "a gem of a links course". There is much more on this visit on the St Enodoc and Luke Donald Twitter accounts and a very fine photo of Luke teeing off on the 15th may be found on Instagram here
