Ladies League success continues

Published: 12th April 2017

The League team had another successful day against Perranporth at Home on Wednesday 12th April. Again, this was a difficult fixture and the team knew they would have to bring their ‘A’ game to manage another win.

Playing conditions were distinctly colder than the previous day and there was a keen wind to contend with going down the first. All the matches were very close at the turn and even coming back through 15 there was all still to play for in most cases. 5 of the 7 matches went to the 18th hole and once again it came down to the last ‘man’ Cath Buscombe to win her match and clinch victory for the team. Captain Tamsin Blake thanks all players for their grit and determination in a tricky match.

It was another tense day but a great result, well played team!
