The Ladies League team were away at Newquay on Wednesday 26th July. A grey, wet and windy day was not what was needed on such an exposed course but the team were all in good spirits at the 1st tee and didn’t appear daunted by the task.

Early signs were good with most of our Ladies up in their matches but as time drew on the home advantage started to come into play. Nonetheless it was yet another close match with a couple of our Ladies coming very close to the extra point we needed. Ultimately though Newquay won 4-3.

With 2 matches remaining the team remain in a fairly strong position, although it’s hard to tell what’s happening elsewhere and there will be a tense end to the season to see where everyone ends up. Still hoping for another elusive away win!
