Ladies & Men into the last sixteen of the "Mail on Sunday"

First started in 1993 and with over 3000 entries this year the "Mail on Sunday" team competition is probably the largest of its kind in the country. Our Ladies and Mens teams are now through to the last sixteen, each team having played seven matches so far. St Enodoc have thus achieved a remarkable double as we are the only club with both teams still involved.

The next round, the quarter finals, will be played at the Marriott Worsley Park Manchester over the weekend of 23/24 September. The semi-finals and finals will be played in Spain at a venue and dates yet to be announced. The Chairman and Treasurer will no doubt be pleased to know that in the event of our teams getting to the semi-finals that their expenses will be met by the "Mail on Sunday".

Next up for the Ladies are Neath GC and for the Men Mountain Ash GC. Both are short courses, Mountain Ash especially so, and thus sure to be full of surprises and where no doubt local knowledge will be at a premium.
