Church Winter Foursomes Final

This match was played on Friday 24th January which turned out to be a damp and blustery day. All the players involved were experienced match players who have previously enjoyed a great deal of success in Foursomes Competitions and the outcome was eagerly anticipated. Kath Biddle and Sue Willmott got off to a great start and were two up after the front nine but the accomplished pairing of Meg Godfrey and Jax Buse remained patient and they closed out the match on the 17th hole.

A round of the Church Salver Series was held on Friday 17th January in good playing conditions. Congratulations to  Jax Buse  who produced an excellent round of golf resulting in a magnificent total of 40 points and a handicap reduction of 2 shots.

1st  Jax Buse  40 points
2nd Vicki Stevenson  34 points

This was followed by a round of the Roworth Salver Series played on Sunday 19th January in beautifully bright and sunny weather. Annie Cruse and Sue Willmott both performed well enough to play their way into the prizes and earn a handicap reduction.
