Injury Forces Antony Nash to Pull Out

Antony had to withdraw from The PDC and World Snooker Open at Collingtree after a suspected dislocation of his left thumb. Antony got off to a poor start but had started to make progress in the right direction when the incident occurred.  Having just gone Birdie Birdie on his 10th and 11th holes getting back to 5 over injured his thumb and despite pain killers and his best efforts he was unable to continue. Antony is now seeking medical attention and hoping that he will be able to compete in the coming weeks.
