21 pairs took part in the Ian Waters Memorial Mixed Greensomes on Sunday 13th May in the brightest of bright sunshine albeit with a chilly and ever increasing wind. Ian was the Club's last Secretary whose term of office was tragically cut short due to his untimely death. With the luxury of both partners driving and being able to select the best ball with which to play out the hole the scores, in Stableford format, are usually high and this year was no exception.

As you can see the winners Tamsin and Richard Blake opened quite a gap between themselves and the other prizewinners due to an outstanding 24 points on the outward half for which they are to be heartily congratulated. The prizewinners who all won bottles of wine and valuable M&S vouchers for their efforts were:-

1st    Richard & Tamsin Blake      40 pts

2nd  Rex Molloy & Sue F. Jones   36 pts

3rd  Frank & Lorna Harper          36 pts

4th  John & Teresa Radford         36 pts
