Frank and his much used

Congratulations are in order for Senior Member Frank Harper who had a hole in one on the 8th on Monday 5th November. Frank played a Rescue 5 into a stiff breeze and rather modestly told our reporter that it was a really good shot. It should be pointed out that despite this being his third ace it is the first time he has been successful using his Wife Lorna's clubs. “Big Frank” has been using them as the softer shafts suit his now slower swing. Does it mean that Lorna is having to use his clubs?

When asked if it cost him plenty at the bar he was delighted to say that it cost him nothing since it was an official competition the whiskey bottle was donated by the Club, however he was playing in the last group and by the time he got in there was precious little of the amber liquid left!
