Congratulations to Celia Jarvis who played at Bowood last weekend in the preliminary round of the County Vice-Presidents Cup. Celia is one of our most consistent performers and dispatched her opponent comfortably on the 15th hole, she awaits to hear details of the next round.

Medal Competitions were played on both courses on Tuesday 2nd July in damp and breezy conditions. Competition was fierce and two of the winners could only be decided after count back. Jenny Justice had an impressive gross score of 75, 1 under the day's Course Standard Scratch.

Inter Club Handicap Shield (Handicaps 21 – 36)

Teams from twenty two golf clubs travelled to Launceston on Thursday 4th July to compete for the Handicap Shield which is awarded to the Club team with the best three aggregate scores over 18 holes. The four St Enodoc players had early tee times and although the weather was damp and drizzly first thing in the morning, it gave our players an opportunity to post a competitive score early on in the clubhouse.

Tamsin Blake with the Andrews Bowl

St Enodoc had a great day with star player Tamsin Blake playing six under her handicap to win the Andrews Bowl with a gross 88 by 9 shots to become Bronze Champion. This outstanding performance was backed up by three very steady rounds of golf from the rest of the team which meant that St Enodoc won the Inter Club Handicap Shield by a very healthy margin of eleven shots.
