The Mens Thursday Roll-Up known as the Farmers Weekly and famed beyond the County Boundary today celebrated the Club's 125th Anniversary. John Walker announced on this occasion, and on this occasion only, there would be a slight change to the Farmers format. This concession your scribe noted appeared to be somewhat reluctantly conceeded; but in a break with 43 years of tradition conceeded it was and for this event only. Thus there were three competitions running in parallel; the normal Farmers format, a 125th stableford - ignoring any ongoing Farmers penalty shots and a nearest the pin prize.

As it happened the winner of both events was the Immediate Past Chairman - John Radford and who received his engraved crystal from the Club Captain. All the other little brown Farmers envelopes were, as usual, presented by John Walker.
