Frank Wills Salver team & caddies before their match against Killiow yesterday

Today our Frank Wills team travelled to the other side of the world i.e. West Cornwall Golf Club, to play Killiow Golf Club, where the temperature was pleasantly warm with a gentle breeze, as per usual we started the day with a fantastic bacon and egg bap. The course was choca block with our Members and I did feel that we might need miners lamps towards the end, we needn't have worried, Killiow were a very  strong team with several players in their thirty's, I'm not going to reflect on the individual scores,  suffice it to say we had lost 3 matches with the other 2 on the course level pegging. The Killiow team are a very friendly bunch and on behalf of the St Enodoc team I wish them well in the next round.
Thanks to West Cornwall, the course was in great condition, staff extremely helpful, fantastic home made main course and puds.
Thanks to my team, the 2 subs who dropped in this week to cover illness and injury, our caddies and Nick for donating a shed load of balls for us to lose on the range.
Finally to our Captain Tony and Vice Captain Bob for giving me the opportunity to look after the Wills team for this year
