Cool winds for the Ladies

St Enodoc Ladies played a Stableford Competition on both courses on Tuesday 25th September. The weather was not pleasant with no sunshine and a cold wind. This meant the scores were relatively low but all credit to the ladies who won the prizes. In Division One on the Church Course Mary Rayment came out top with 31 points followed by Angela Tickner on 29 and Maggie Day on 27. Division 2 winner was Anne Humphreys with 29 points. In second place was Edna Alford on count back from Pat Parry who both had 24 points. On the Holywell Course Annie Matthews scored well despite the conditions to come in with 37 points and cut her handicap to 27. Gill Goodright was second with 35 points and Margaret Godwin was third with 31.

The qualifiers for the Daily Mail Foursomes Competition were played for recently. This resulted in Meg Godfrey and Jax Buse having to play a match against Terri Gliddon and Chris Dymond for a place in this National Competition.
