For the most part work is progressing to the agreed timetable.  Our thanks go to the members for their on-going patience with the clubhouse remodelling. We appreciate this is somewhat of an inconvenience and we appreciate everyone’s understanding during the noise and dust. It will be worth it!

We will be moving in to the top bar on Monday 24th March in order to allow work to begin on the Lower Lounge and Reception areas. The top bar will not be a totally finished product for some time yet, so judgement should be reserved for the final result. Initially we will be using our old furniture while we wait for delivery on new chairs and tables. All furniture is to be renewed. We also await delivery on new blinds, the partition wall, area rugs and further decoration; so there are plenty more changes to come.

Similarly, the honours boards and photographs will not be re-hung until the overall wall space can be assessed to see what space is available for all the various memorabilia and photographs.

We anticipate that the remaining work on the Lower Lounge and Reception will take approximately seven weeks, which gives us a target of 12th May for completion.
