Close scoring in the Ladies Par Competition

Published: 2nd August 2013

Another round of the Roworth Salver was played on Sunday 28th July in breezy and showery conditions. Winner of the day was Trudy Tremain with a total of 32 points, this score included a fabulous eagle on the 14th hole. In second place was Pauline Meredith with 30 points.

Sue Roworth played her way on to the winners’ rostrum once again after finishing top of Division one in the Par Competition which was played on Tuesday 30th July. Just for the record, that is Sue’s third win in the last ten days at St Enodoc, so the current playing conditions obviously suit her game. All the competitions were extremely close with the top places being decided by the slightest of margins.
