Published: 5th May 2015

LONGEST DAY CHALLENGE ON SUNDAY JUNE 21st

On Sunday June 21st, the longest day of the year, I have committed myself to playing 4 rounds of golf on the Holywell. This is part of a national fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Support and they have agreed that all money we raise will go to the Cove project at Treliske, my charity for the year. Over a 1000 other teams are taking part that day nationwide.

Annie Hawkey and Matt ‘Wappo’ Westlake have offered to play with me.

So your support is needed by -

  • One more of you to join me that day to make a fourball, 2 scores to count Stableford. (best score and most money raised by a 4 ball have a chance to go to Portugal as prize!). Let me know if you are willing to give it a go.

  • Sponsoring the team- forms behind bar or via the web site of Justgiving.com ‘St Enodoc Captain’s charity’

  • Caddies (one or two rounds each) and encouragement will be needed

  • There will also be sweepstakes on the eclectic score for the day, balls lost and time taken.

It should be a fun day (for non players).
