The annual Buse Shield competition took place on Sunday 21st May.
11 pairs comprising of a junior golfer and an adult partner took part in this foursomes competition on the Holywell course.
Sunny conditions along with some excellent scoring meant an enjoyable day for all especially for those juniors who took part in their first golf competition.
Liam Bateman on behalf of the juniors gave thanks to Captain, Tony Mindel for presenting the prizes ( who was ably assisted by Diana Mindel) and to all the adults who kindly gave up their time to play alongside the juniors.

The results were:-

1st.  Joe Nash and Jack Irwin.     43 points

2nd. Lewis Sandercock and Paul Clemens.    35 points

3rd.  Joe Wilson and Dave Derry.   35 points

The next junior competition is the Cole Rayment and White on Sunday 11th June.
Sign up sheet for juniors and willing adults to play alongside them can be found on the mixed notice board by reception.
