Mixed Foursomes Medal – golf doesn't come harder than this! In 1902 Mrs. Alice Cooper (no not the 70s rock star despite him being an accomplished golfer) presented the Bray Bowl and over the years it has seen some great golf and worthy winners. The weather on Sunday 15th March was dry with a keen Easterly wind, so with the course and particularly the greens hard fast and true conditions were reasonable for playing as there was no rain to make it feel miserable. The numbers were a bit down as it clashed with Mothering Sunday which gave quite a few couples the excuse to duck the Medal even so 28 players took part on the Church with a further 16 on the Holywell.

As expected despite some very good golf scores were hard to come by, but the main prize went our one of the Club's most successful and long standing, or should one say evergreen, couples Keith and Barbara Willmott. Those in the prizes were;-

Church Course Bray Bowl

1st Keith & Barbara Willmott 75.5
2nd Norman & Annie Hawkey 77
3rd Kevin Brenton & Bev Vann 77.5

Holywell Course

1st John & Helen Russell 44 pts
2nd Jim & Gloria Crouch 44 pts
3rd Chris Pomfret & Pauiline Wilkins 39 pts
