Battle Trophy, Round 3.

While the rain lashed down at St Andrews, St Enodoc faired a little better for the Battle Trophy.  It was windy as always but a fine day, improving into the afternoon.  79 members entered this weekend playing the 3rd of the series.

Pete Liddicoat took the honours this week with a gross score of 82 giving him a nett 67, his form similar to Zach Johnson, he held his nerve to the last and walked away with a cool £34 Voucher! - not quite the Claret Jug  but no less important!

In second place Kenton Williams had a nett score of 69 and earned himself a handicap decrease to single figures, Joe Combellack came in 3rd with 70 nett and Danny Hoare was 4th with 71 nett.  The Captain, David Elliott finished in 5th place with a nett score of 72 beating Steve Cock into 6th place on countback.
