The weather was not as kind to us as the previous few days, but 20 juniors and 10 seniors played an enjoyable Texas Scramble on the Holywell Course in cool and breezy conditions. There were some very impressive shots played by a lot of budding young superstars, and all the scoring was very competitive. Our thanks must go to Heather Clemens and Trudie Tremain for all their help in organising the event, and to Ian Gray for the food. A special thanks also to William Morley for stepping in at the very last minute.

The prizes:

  • 1st Harry Hambly, Charlie Edwards and David Balmford  score 56.4
  • 2nd Joe Nash, Lucy Williams and Nigel Thomas  score 58.5
  • 3rd Finn Ellis, Oliver Kearney and Martin Bailey  score 60.6
  • Juniors nearest the pin:  Aljo Cock
  • Seniors nearest the pin:  Roger Priestley

Also, thank you to our club Captain, David Elliott, for presenting the prizes.
