Annual Open Mixed thirty-six hole greensomes

Once again this year we have been delighted to welcome golfers from all over the West Country to St Enodoc for the Annual Open Mixed 36 hole greensomes; 18 holes on the Church Course and 18 on the Holywell Course. Having mentioned the West Country travellers, this years entry also includes visitors from Northamptonshire.

The weather for this event can be variable but this years competitors were once again blessed with sun, sun and more sun. A hint of northly zephyr depressed the air temperature on the exposed parts of the course. This being the incoming Club Captain's inaugural event he has no doubt claimed the credit for the weather ! And why not ? He would doubtless be blamed if it was less than perfect. Perhaps he also had a hand in Derek Wraight's hole in one on the Church Course 8th hole ?
