Every year the format for this annual fixture seems to change and 2014 was no exception as nothing was sorted till all parties were on the 1st tee! With a reduced team for the Greenkeepers due to illness and injury two 3 balls were played with 2 scores to count. A cold and very gusty wind did nothing for the golf and not only were the Holywell greens lightning fast but one member of staff, who shall remain nameless but is regularly spotted at Home Park Plymouth, had made it his business to set many of the tees as far back as possible, on the 7th a backswing was nearly impeded as the tee was almost in the hedge. At the end of the day one team beat the other suffice it to say the winners were round the windswept course in 2 1/4 hours, the highlight was however Chris Whitehead's Birdie on the 18th.

Wappo's pasties were thoroughly enjoyed by all and the Captain thanked the greenkeepers for being so instrumental in the rise up all the golf course rankings which we have seen in the last 12 months for St Enodoc.
