Super scoring in Stableford Competitions

Published: 13th December 2013

Our Competitions in December continue to be played in excellent weather conditions and players are enjoying competing without being hindered by numerous winter layers. On Friday 6th December, another round of the Church Salver Series was played with Sue G Jones finishing in first place on 33 points just one point ahead of Sue Richards in second place.

Tuesday 10th December saw good entries for all the Stableford Competitions. On the Church Course in Division One, a single point determined the winner but the performance of the day came from Maxine Rich who scored 35 points and won Division Two with an eleven point margin. Maxine is also to be congratulated on reducing her handicap to 24.
