Full details of both the golf and social celebrations which will be taking place on Tuesday 5th June are under Extras.

On Friday 13th April Captain John Baxter presented Robin Bates, with a cheque for £1100 made out to Cornwall Music Therapy Trust .......

The Ladies Committee are now busy arranging their Annual Charity Coffee Morning for 17th Februar

The first of the seasons social events took place on Friday 26th July which was a 3 part event the first of which was a display organised by Simon Hunt our  resident gamekeeper with a large number of raptors including a Bengal Owl, Harris Hawks, an American Kestrel an a Lana Falcon, Simon also had his 2 spaniels and ferrets working. It was  most interesting and many Members had the opportunity of seeing the birds close too and even with them on their gloved hands.

Alans illustrated talk will be entitled “Christmas in the Unholy Land”. Alan will be relating tales of his time as a Territorial Army surgeon at Camp Bastion in Afghanistan dealing with military casualties – a sort of 21st Century M.A.S.H. It will be a most interesting insight into the problems faced by the British Army in such difficult circumstances.
