Dress Regulations

St Enodoc seeks to provide a relaxed and sociable environment in which golf can be played and enjoyed.  However, members and guests are reminded that we operate a dress code both in the clubhouse and on the golf course.

To avoid embarrassment please ensure that you and your party are properly attired.

On the Golf Course

Gentlemen should wear recognised golf attire.  Shirts must be worn at all times.  ‘T’ shirts, vests, clothes carrying large logos or lettering are not permitted.  Shorts must be tailored and not beach shorts.  Blue jeans, track or shell suits are not permitted at any time.  Golf shoes with socks are mandatory.  No trainers are to be worn on the course for safety reasons.

Ladies are requested to adopt an acceptable and appropriate standard of dress and observe the spirit of the dress code where, because of the differences in male and female attire, it is inappropriate for them to observe the letter of it.

In the Clubhouse

Smart conventional golf and casual clothes are to be worn in the Clubhouse lounges at all times.  No golf shoes, caps/hats, waterproof clothing, blue jeans, vests, ‘T’ shirts, beach attire or clothes carrying large logos or lettering to be worn and gentlemen are requested to wear socks at all times together with appropriate footwear.

Juniors will be expected to conform with the dress code, and will be assisted where necessary by members of the junior committee.

Mobile Telephones

Use of mobile telephones in the clubhouse, changing rooms or on the golf course is not permitted.  However, it is accepted that in the case of emergencies the use of a mobile on the golf course may be essential.  If you carry a mobile onto the course, please ensure that it is switched off, or on silent mode.
