CHURCH COURSE (6243 yds): Restricted to golfers with handicaps of 24 or below (Men) and 28 or below (Ladies). Handicap certificates are essential. No green fees before 2.30pm on Saturdays.
3 or 4 BALLS are allowed off the 1st tee on the CHURCH COURSE after 10.00am.
HOLYWELL COURSE (4103 yds): No restrictions on handicap.
STARTING TIMES: These will be in operation throughout the year on the Church Course. You should aim to be at the Club reception at least 40 minutes prior to your starting time to enable you to be booked in. If you miss your starting time it may not be possible to fit you in at a later time.
BUGGIES: Although the Professional has a buggy for hire, the use of buggies is not permitted unless circumstances are exceptional and a medical certificate produced.
CADDIES: Can be arranged at St. Enodoc with advance notice. Please contact the office or speak to Reception and we will be happy to help.
ETIQUETTE and SPEED OF PLAY: Players are reminded that it is their responsibility to ensure the safety of others. You must not hit the ball unless it is safe to do so. A course ranger will be helping to keep play moving; please do as he asks. If you lose a complete hole, call the following group through. If you lose a ball, call the following group through sooner rather than later. 2 ball matches have priority on the courses. As a guide to speed of play, 2 balls should expect to be on the 7th tee in 1 hour, and the 10th tee in 1 hour 30 minutes; 4 balls on the 7th tee in 1 hour 20 minutes, and the 10th tee in 2 hours.
INSURANCE: Players are advised to ensure they have adequate personal liability cover, as St Enodoc Golf Club does not provide such cover for visiting players.
DRESS: St. Enodoc seeks to provide a relaxed and sociable environment in which golf can be played and enjoyed. However, members and guests are reminded that we operate a dress code both in the clubhouse and on the golf course. To avoid embarrassment please ensure that you and your party are properly attired. On the golf course gentlemen should wear recognised golf attire. Shirts should have a collar and sleeves, and must not be worn outside trousers or shorts. Shorts must be tailored and not beach shorts. Blue denim jeans, track or shell suits are not permitted at any time. Golf shoes with socks are mandatory. No trainers are to be worn on the course. Ladies are requested to adopt an acceptable and appropriate standard of dress and observe the spirit of the Dress Code where, because of the differences in male and female attire, it is inappropriate for them to observe the letter of it.
Smart, conventional golf and casual clothes are to be worn in the Club House lounges at all times. No blue denim jeans, golf shoes, caps/hats to be worn in the Club House, thank you. Please note that the General Manager, the Assistant Secretary, members of the Committee, course rangers, bar staff, the professional and his staff all have authority to ask anyone not complying with any of these standards to leave the course or clubhouse.
MOBILE PHONES Use of mobile telephones in the Club House, changing rooms or on the golf course is not permitted. However, it is accepted that in case of emergencies, the use of a mobile on the golf course may be essential. If you carry a mobile onto the course, please ensure that it is switched off.
DEPOSIT: A deposit of £10 per player is required to secure an advance booking. This may be refunded if cancellation in writing is received not less than 7 days prior to the reservation.
SOCIETIES: Societies are most welcome and all arrangements should be agreed in advance with the General Manager and his staff to ensure that you have a good day. Societies are then asked to confirm in writing and pay an agreed deposit one week in advance. A wide range of meals is available in our popular restaurant, which overlooks the beautiful Camel Estuary and the 18th green.
